Location Aware Printing, available only in the Professional and Ultimate editions, remembers which printers you routinely use and automatically routes your documents to the right one.

Windows 7 is also designed to help you wring more life from laptop batteries. For example, it cuts off the power to your Ethernet jack when you’re not using it and automatically dims your LCD screen—a huge power drain—if the computer sits idle too long.
Keep work safer, more secure
We know you can’t be too careful with your work. So Windows 7 includes numerous security enhancements. It makes better use of laptop fingerprint scanners and includes new features like BitLocker To Go. Available in the Ultimate edition, BitLocker To Go encrypts USB flash drives and other portable storage to help protect them from theft or accidental loss.
